A Green & White wedding is usually thought of as classic. So what happens when you are part of a photo shoot that is green & white but anything but traditional? You break out the moss and the ferns and go all forest on it!
Once again, dear friend of BOC Alexandra Dillard, editorial director of Chicago Style Weddings invited teamBOC to be a part of the annual designers’ challenge.
We had a blast working with Alison from Designed & Detailed to transform The Gwen Hotel into a bit of an enchanted forest in the middle of the city. Many thanks go out to Anamaria Vieriu Photography for capturing it all.
To pull off this forest vibe, we started at the top by dripping Spanish moss and green & white tulips off the very modern chandelier

Then we had fun with moss and ferns to design the tablescapes. The modern gold lamps keep the look from getting too lost in the forest vibe. Menus by Adorable Stationery. Shout out to Tablescapes for the fun place settings and table

Ester and Samuel from Bittersweet Pastry Shop had fun channeling the forest vibe with this whimsical wedding cake. I love the edible moss they dusted on the sugar ribbon.

Personal flowers aren’t usually a part of the designer challenge but when we found out that Hugo Boss was willing to provide fashion for models we said “Oh why not?” Who doesn’t love a full floral lapel on a Hugo Boss tuxedo?
Of course, we also need a bouquet to pick up that modern forest vibe for this green & white wedding.

These pics are only one branch of the whole day. Many thanks go out to everyone involved. Below you will find the full credits.
